Panda Cup – Concept and Branding for a reusable water bottle

I wanted to develop a brand of reusable water bottles that emphasises sustainability. By utilising bamboo as the primary material for the bottles, I would hope to encourage ecologically conscious consumer choices while also promoting eco-friendly practices. I’ll build a mascot to strengthen brand identification, maybe a panda bear, to strengthen the business’s eco-friendly message and establish a strong visual connection to bamboo. I have also create a slogan that successfully conveys the brand’s mission and is consistent with its ideals.

The Source – Short Film

The final year project was assigned to us to give us the option to choose a skill that has been taught during the course and would like to expand and improve on it. Shooting a short film was decided as it was an opportunity to delve into the film/TV world. Exploring different ways of making a short film, from shooting technique, script writing, lighting setup, and how to work with other individuals within the industry. As well as building and working on skill improvements, and adding to the portfolio work. The short film is based on an individual finding purpose after the death of a loved one. Ultimately leading to the source himself, “God”.

Cosmic Thread – Clothing brand

My final digital media project is based around the idea of a clothing brand and to create every aspect of said brand, the brand is named “Cosmic Thread”. The initial idea came from the fact I am working at Flannels (a clothing store) with multiple high end brands, and wanted to capture what it was that made these brands popular. The final deliverables that were aimed to be made was firstly, a branding guide that captured the feeling of the brand and everything from colour schemes to typography to be included within. Clothing Mockups to support some of the designs for the t-shirts, this includes both a simplistic design and a more contemporary style of clothing.

All the Girls – Magazine concept and Fashion Photography

For my final project, titled ‘All the Girls’ I wanted to explore the world of fashion photography, especially revolving around women’s fashion, also focusing on the freedom and confidence attached to it. A goal for this project was to include the concept of freedom, individuality and confidence, expressed through styling models and visual storytelling. My objective was to create work that would resonate with a younger female audience, but also attract creatives and enthusiasts interested in fashion, photography or zine culture.

Sheffield Hardcore Zine with Photography

I have attended and been involved in DIY music for some time now and throughout the space, there is a sense of community that involves creatives and of course musicians. One thing that is very important is creating zines. Zines can come in many different forms of media but the most important one is physical zines. Creating zines allows for people to spread the word about DIY music and to show people their creative abilities. I am interested in the Hardcore/Hardcore Punk subculture and this scene relies heavily on creatives making zines, artwork for albums and videography at shows etc.
