K.J and Lulu are the teens responsible for maintaining the machine that controls the Earth’s rotation. One day K.J arrives to work with a different motive; the destruction of the mechanism. Armed only with a baseball bat and a bad attitude, K.J must face his deadliest opponent and his dearest friend. In a battle of brains versus brawn, each must pull out all the stops to protect what matters most.

My name is Najah Lone and I’m a 2D animator based in Sheffield. I began studying animation in 2019 at Sheffield Hallam University, where I worked on my first solo project “That time I Caused Doomsday.” I’ve always been inspired by art and animation because it is a powerful medium that can convey thought-provoking emotions. I particularly enjoy cinematography and character acting, so I try to consider these elements in my work. Growing up in Sheffield meant
I was always surrounded by art, whether it be wall murals, galleries, theatres and even nature; it is a beautiful city with rich culture and interesting people.
I used to struggle with traditional academics, and it wasn’t until A level Film studies I found a subject that truly resonated. It broadened how I perceived art by encouraging me to appreciate the careful considerations needed to produce a successful production and introduced me to critical analysis of media. I chose to specialise in 2D animation because I enjoy the process of creating stories that traditional filmmaking techniques might struggle to achieve. My major project for university is a way for me to experiment with my interests while learning how to work in a professional industry scenario. It is also my first instance of directing which has proven to be a challenging yet rewarding experience.
