Will Spencer

A newly formed latte foam heart, named Cino, wakes up in an environment of coffee espresso. Unfortunately, he has been made with a heart shaped hole in his body! With the desire to refill and mend this hole, he breaks free from the tulip he was formed on and begins to explore this new, unknown world. He encounters various troubled situations, including an encounter with an angry swan and also being dragged into a whirlpool. Will he ever find the peace and comfort he so longs for?

Will Spencer is a young animator located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. He is currently in his final year at Sheffield Hallam University working on his Major Animation Project short film, Learte. In January, Will won the Nick Park Aardman Award for his pre-production work on Learte, a prestigious award only available for animation students at Sheffield Hallam University. Will’s specialism is directing, and loves working in both 2D and stop motion mediums. He has very ambitious goals and hopes he can use his skills to work on productions such as Doctor Who, and Star Wars, as well as for studios such as Aardman, and Pixar Animation Studios. Will chose 2D as his specialism as this was the most practical and effective. After producing his film, Will feels he has grown as an animator and feels incredibly proud with the work he has produced.
