Louis Veevers

An animation about an intelligent species of sheep in Siberia who wander around a dying world and struggle to survive. Inspired by environmental concerns especially how habitat loss affects animals.

I am Louis Veevers and I’m currently pursuing a BA (hons) in Animation at Sheffield Hallam University. My work often uses traditional animation techniques, such as hand-drawn animation, and 2D stop-motion, to create unique and interesting visuals. I find that these animation techniques allow me to express my creativity and find new ways to make my work stand out. However, the work I have produced here has been hand drawn digitally using a drawing tablet. I also like to address ethical themes in my work. My most recent piece, entitled Sherst looks at environmental concerns and the impact such issues can have on the creatures that experience these changes.
