Fleeting Dreams of Destruction, 2022

Photography feels faintly different than it used to, images no longer look the same to me. Attempting to find alternative ways of creating photographic work within lockdown conditions, combined with restrictions in location have changed me personally. Fleeting Dreams of Destruction is about the process of experimentation but also the feeling of confusion, the idea that our very world is but a false image of what truly happens around us. How easily we subscribed to the illusions and now a sense of misalignment. Looking back from the present it becomes clear to see how fleeting things can be. A part of us tries to cling to the past yet the frozen landscapes, illusions or reality, shall remain for eternity.
