Living together in an all-male household over the past two years has allowed each of us individually to grow. As a group we are very close, congregating in each other’s rooms, play fighting, playing games with each other and an acceptance of immaturity has allowed for our relationships to blossom into lifelong friendships. At the start of this project, the aim was to document a house of 7 males showing the chaotic mess and how we interact with one another. 54/45 has gone beyond a documentary photography project and has become an archive of the cherished memories of this time at university – something that each of us will miss and never forget no matter where we are in the world.
