An arctic fox pup and his mum play in the snow when the pup becomes hungry. The mum hunts to feed the pup. When the pup tries to hunt for themself, they fail, but their mum is there to reassure them. Some time passes and the pup becomes an adult whilst their mum becomes weaker. The pup attempts to hunt for food and this time succeeds. Only when they return to give their mum the food, their future is forever changed.
My name is Eleanor Briggs and I am an animator based in Sheffield in the UK. I have chosen to specialise in 2D for my graduate animated film because I love the range in visual style that can be achieved in this medium. My favourite aspect of animation is background design and the use of shapes and layers to create a sense of space over using perspective. Pre-production and design concepts are also a particular interests of mine. Motion Graphics also appeals to me, having taught myself some basics on After Effects to make a promotional video for a client. I enjoyed the challenge of learning a new software and the importance of great communication with a client in order to produce something the client is happy with, especially when they might not be sure with what they want at first allowing you to help narrow it down for them.
