Gender is a spectrum; fashion is a spectrum. Every day we buy into the fantasy that certain clothes are for specific genders, but fashion is open to everyone. My project sets out to explore the androgynous aspects of fashion and how items such as ‘the white shirt’ is more than just a man’s work staple, it’s fashion and it is genderless. ‘Short hair’ is not just for men, it is powerful, regardless genderless.
