Post pandemic fashion has seen a shift towards the desire to hide and be noticed at the same time, seen within streetwear, runway shows, and social media trends. Highlighting the desire to stand out but also conceal oneself through the latest fashion trend of the balaclava, which gained popularity for its fashionable aesthetics and the current demand for practicality in fashion. Hidden in Plain Sight is a series of images that explores the use of accessories that alter our understanding of a fashion image.  The accessories create anonymity the less information we have, the more powerful the anonymity in the image becomes.
