Digital Media Production and the Immersive Arts MA have recently been engaging with a very exciting company LightForge Academy and Prox and Reverie who are based in Doncaster.
LightForge Academy is a new, dedicated learning environment for creative industries graduates. We went to visit them and their in house company Prox and Reverie this week to collaborate on a project they have recently been developing with some XR Stories funding called Glimmer and Symphony. Our Immersive Arts MA student Anthony McGill will be working on the project to help develop this with Prox and Reverie. This is great opportunity for our MA student to gain experience and connections through this live industry project.
Prox and Reverie work with designers, filmmakers, performers, creators and producers and empower them to imagine, explore and create an idea and ultimately develop new multi-sensory immersive experiences for their clients, customers and audiences.
We are very excited to see the outcome of this project and to collaborate further with this exciting new company in the heart of Doncaster!
