Gentle Man, 2022

An individual’s gender has been placed on them because of the given stereotypes that we are forced to follow. From birth, all we know is what society tells us what we are, solely because of mainstream toxic masculinity. Gender is transforming our own versions of ourselves and how we choose to express our individuality. Gentle Man explores the shattering of the gender stereotypes in today’s society with the influence of contemporary fashion. In some aspects, it showcases the norm of today’s fashion but also celebrates going against the stereotypes that are placed upon us. The use of the clothes on the human body gives us a sense of expression to present ourselves as a unique individual.
